Brown Rice Syrup is a great alternative, natural sweetener. High in the simple sugar Maltose but low in Glucose and Fructose making it a great organic substitute in any recipe. For every 1 cup of sugar replace with 1 1/4 cup of Brown Rice Syrup and cut a liquid in the recipe by 1/4 cup. Brown Rice syrup is Gluten free and Vegan.
